I’m a proud Cape Elizabeth parent with two children at Pond Cove Elementary and Cape Elizabeth Middle School. I’ve been a dedicated volunteer in various capacities for both the elementary school and middle school over the years. As a long-time resident of Cape Elizabeth, I’ve witnessed the power of our community’s commitment to education excellence—a gift that shapes every child’s future. I’m running for the School Board to ensure our schools maintain their status among Maine’s best, preparing students for a rapidly changing world. The more we invest in education, the greater the value we all receive.

My approach to leadership as Anastasia Troxel is rooted in collaboration, research, and community involvement to solve problems thoughtfully while maintaining a responsible budget. As an entrepreneur who has built successful businesses, I have learned valuable tools that I can offer to this wonderful community as a member of the school board. This includes a multi-unit resort renovation, a commercial new construction in Eastport, Maine, and custom home builds right here in Cape Elizabeth. I bring hands-on expertise in design, material procurement, and project oversight, equipping me to tackle our schools’ infrastructure needs with cost-effective, high-quality solutions.

My proven skills in budgeting, collaboration, and problem-solving allow me to address challenges thoughtfully, always prioritizing community involvement and transparent decision-making. I’m passionate about fostering healthy, happy, and confident students by prioritizing mental health through accessible counseling, stress-reducing programs, and a nurturing school culture.
